| Description: | Female singer/instrumentalist for Folk Rock band We're a newly formed folk rock band with drums, bass & male vocal/acoustic guitar on board. We rehearse in Rainham, Kent. Looking for a good female singer to share lead and harmonies who's into folk and roots music. Must be able to play an instrument - fiddle, mandolin, acoustic guitar, accordion or banjo would be ideal. No electric guitarists required. Our material so far is Lindisfarne, Johnny Flynn, Fairport Convention, Paolo Nutini, Old Crow Medicine Show & a couple of originals. We're not looking to play trad folk, although we could include a few numbers with the right instrumentalist. It won't be a heavy gig schedule, probably once a fortnight around the Medway/London area. We're all in our 50's and experienced musicians, age is not an issue if you fit in with us musically. We'd prefer someone with experience of live performance and playing with other musicians.
